उत्तरकाण्ड 7.115

जो ऐसी भक्ति को जानते हुए छोड़ देते हैं और केवल ज्ञान पाने के लिए परिश्रम करते हैं—

Those who knowingly abandon such devotion and labor only to attain spiritual knowledge—

वे मूर्ख घर की कामधेनु छोड़कर दूध के लिए आक खोजते फिरते हैं।

Those fools abandon the wish-fulfilling cow at home and wander in search of a milkweed plant for milk.

हे पक्षिराज, सुनो! जो हरि की भक्ति छोड़कर दूसरे उपायों से सुख चाहते हैं—

Listen, king of birds! Those who abandon devotion to Hari and seek happiness through other means—

वे मूर्ख बिना नाव के विशाल समुद्र को तैरकर पार करना चाहते हैं; यह मूर्खतापूर्ण करनी है।

Those fools wish to swim across the vast ocean without a boat—an unwise undertaking.

हे भवानी, भसुंडि के वचन सुनकर गरुड़ प्रसन्न हुए और कोमल वाणी में बोले।

O Bhavani, hearing Bhusundi's words, Garuda rejoiced and spoke gently.

हे प्रभु, आपकी कृपा से मेरे हृदय में संशय, शोक, मोह और भ्रम नहीं रहे।

Master, through your grace, doubt, sorrow, attachment, and confusion no longer remain in my heart.
