ए दुष्ट! वानरों और भालुओं को क्यों मारता है? मुझे देख, मैं तेरा काल हूँ।

You villain! Why strike the monkeys and bears? Look at me: I am your death.

ए पुत्रघाती! मैं तुझे खोज रहा था। आज तुझे मार गिराकर अपनी छाती ठंडी करूँगा।

You killer of my son! I was searching for you. Today I shall bring you down and soothe my burning heart.

ऐसा कहकर रावण ने प्रचंड बाण छोड़े। लक्ष्मण ने उन सबके सौ-सौ टुकड़े कर दिए।

Saying this, Ravana released fierce arrows. Lakshmana cut them all into a hundred pieces each.

रावण ने करोड़ों अस्त्र चलाए। लक्ष्मण ने उन्हें काटकर तिल जितने छोटे टुकड़े कर दिए और उनका निवारण किया।

Ravana hurled tens of millions of weapons. Lakshmana cut them into sesame-sized fragments and warded them off.

फिर लक्ष्मण ने अपने बाणों से प्रहार किया, रावण का रथ तोड़ दिया और सारथी को मार डाला।

Then Lakshmana attacked with his own arrows, shattered Ravana's chariot, and killed the charioteer.

लक्ष्मण ने रावण के दसों ललाटों में सौ-सौ बाण मारे, मानो पर्वत की चोटियों में साँप प्रवेश कर रहे हों।

Lakshmana shot a hundred arrows into each of Ravana's ten foreheads, as though snakes were entering mountain peaks.
