उन्होंने प्रभु के कमल-समान चरणों में सिर झुकाए। उन वीरों को देखकर रघुपति के मन को वे भाए।

They bowed their heads at the Lord’s lotus-like feet. Seeing those warriors, Rama was pleased with them.

राम ने कृपा करके दोनों को देखा; वे थकान से मुक्त होकर अत्यंत सुखी हो गए।

Rama looked graciously upon the two; they became free of fatigue and deeply happy.

अंगद और हनुमान को गया जानकर अनेक भालू और वानर योद्धा लौट पड़े।

Knowing that Angada and Hanuman had gone, many bear and monkey warriors turned back.

संध्याकाल से बल पाकर राक्षस रावण की दुहाई देते हुए दौड़ पड़े।

Gaining strength at dusk, the demons charged, invoking Ravana’s name.

राक्षसों की सेना देखकर वानर फिर मुड़े; जगह-जगह दाँत किटकिटाते हुए योद्धा भिड़ गए।

Seeing the demon army, the monkeys turned to face it; everywhere warriors clashed, gnashing their teeth.

दोनों प्रबल दलों के वीर बार-बार एक-दूसरे को ललकारते हुए लड़ रहे थे और हार नहीं मानते थे।

The valiant warriors of both powerful armies fought, repeatedly challenging one another and refusing to concede defeat.
