Fierce monkeys and bears seize chunks of mountains and hurl them onto the fort.

वे झपटते हैं, शत्रुओं के पैर पकड़कर उन्हें धरती पर पटकते हैं और भागते हुए शत्रुओं को फिर ललकारते हैं।

They pounce, seize their enemies by the feet, dash them to the ground, and again challenge those fleeing.

अत्यंत फुर्तीले और यौवन के पराक्रम से भरे वे योद्धा उछलते हैं और आवेश में गढ़ पर चढ़ते चले जाते हैं।

Exceedingly agile and full of youthful prowess, the warriors leap about and climb onto the fort in fierce excitement.

वानर और भालु जहाँ-तहाँ भवनों पर चढ़कर राम का यश गाने लगे।

The monkeys and bears climbed onto buildings here and there and began singing Rama’s glory.

फिर वानर एक-एक राक्षस को पकड़कर भाग चले।

वे धरती पर आ गिरते हैं—वानर स्वयं ऊपर रहते हैं और राक्षस योद्धा नीचे।
