देवर्षि की वाणी झूठी नहीं हो सकती—यह सोचकर माता-पिता और समझदार सखियाँ चिंता करने लगे।

The divine sage’s words cannot prove false—the parents and discerning companions worried over this.

हृदय में धैर्य धारण करके पर्वतराज कहते हैं, ‘नाथ, बताइए, क्या उपाय किया जाए?’

Steadying his heart, the mountain king says, ‘Revered sir, tell us: what remedy should be undertaken?’

मुनिश्रेष्ठ बोले, ‘हिमवान, सुनो: विधाता ने ललाट पर जो लिख दिया है—’

The eminent sage said, ‘Listen, Himavan: whatever the Creator has written upon the forehead—’

‘उसे देवता, दैत्य, मनुष्य, नाग या मुनि—कोई भी मिटा नहीं सकता।’

‘No god, demon, human, serpent being, or sage can erase it.’
