प्रभु ने हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम किया और अपने पिता के नाम के साथ अपना नाम बताया।

The Lord joined his hands in greeting and gave his own name along with his father’s.

फिर कहा, ‘शिव कहाँ हैं? आप वन में अकेली किस कारण घूम रही हैं?’

Then he said, ‘Where is Shiva? Why are you wandering alone in the forest?’

राम के कोमल किंतु गहरे आशय वाले वचन सुनकर सती को बहुत संकोच हुआ।

Hearing Rama’s gentle yet deeply meaningful words, Sati felt great embarrassment.

भयभीत सती शिव के पास चलीं; उनके हृदय में बड़ी चिंता थी।

Frightened, Sati went toward Shiva, with great anxiety in her heart.
