The king duly honored the guests whom he regarded as dear and worthy of reverence.

देवताओं ने राम का विवाह देखकर फूल बरसाए और उत्सव के उल्लास की प्रशंसा की।

Seeing Rama’s wedding, the gods showered flowers and praised the festive rejoicing.

देवता नगाड़े बजाते हुए आनंद पाकर अपने-अपने नगरों की ओर चले।

Filled with joy, the gods departed for their respective cities, sounding kettledrums.

वे आपस में राम का यश कहते जाते थे; उनके हृदयों में प्रेम समाता न था।

They spoke to one another of Rama’s glory; their hearts could not contain their love.
