जगत प्रकाशित होने वाला है और राम उसके प्रकाशक हैं; वे माया के स्वामी तथा ज्ञान और गुणों के धाम हैं।

The world is what is illuminated, and Rama is its illuminator; he is the master of maya and the abode of knowledge and virtues.

जिनकी सत्य सत्ता के कारण जड़ माया मोह की सहायता से सत्य जैसी प्रतीत होती है।

Through whose reality, insentient maya appears as though real, aided by delusion.

जैसे सीप में चाँदी का आभास होता है और सूर्य की किरणों में जल का। ‘मास’ संदिग्ध है; यह अनुवाद संभावित ‘भास’ के आधार पर है।

As silver appears in a shell, and water in the sun's rays. ‘मास’ is uncertain; this translation assumes the likely intended ‘भास’, appearance.

यद्यपि वह तीनों कालों में मिथ्या है, फिर भी उस भ्रम को कोई दूर नहीं कर सकता।

Although it is false in all three times—past, present, and future—no one can dispel that illusion.
