भरत अपने गुणों के वर्णन सहित राम के गुणों की गाथा सुनते और रघुनाथ का स्मरण करते हुए चले जा रहे हैं।

Bharata proceeds, hearing accounts of Rama’s virtues that also include praise of his own qualities, while remembering Rama.

तीर्थ, मुनियों के आश्रम और देवमंदिर देखकर वे पवित्र जल में स्नान करते और प्रणाम करते हैं।

Seeing pilgrimage sites, sages’ hermitages, and temples, they bathe in the sacred waters and offer salutations.

वे मन ही मन यही वर माँगते हैं कि सीता और राम के चरणकमलों में प्रेम बना रहे।

Inwardly they ask for this boon: love for the lotus feet of Sita and Rama.

मार्ग में किरात, कोल और वनवासी, वानप्रस्थ तपस्वी, ब्रह्मचारी विद्यार्थी, संयमी साधु तथा विरक्त मिलते हैं।

Along the way they meet Kiratas, Kols, forest dwellers, forest hermits, celibate students, ascetics, and renunciants.

भरत जिसे भी मिलते हैं, उसे प्रणाम करके पूछते हैं: लक्ष्मण, राम और सीता किस वन में हैं?

Bharata bows to whomever he meets and asks, ‘In which forest are Lakshmana, Rama, and Sita?’

वे लोग प्रभु राम के सभी समाचार बताते हैं और भरत को देखकर अपने जन्म का फल पाते हैं।

Those people tell all the news of Lord Rama and, on seeing Bharata, obtain the fulfillment of their birth.
