जो लोग कहते हैं, ‘हमने उन्हें कुशल देखा है,’ भरत उन्हें राम और लक्ष्मण के समान प्रिय मानते हैं।

Those who say, ‘We saw them safe and well,’ are regarded by Bharata as dear as Rama and Lakshmana.

इस प्रकार भरत सब लोगों से मधुर वाणी में पूछते और राम के वनवास की कथा सुनते जाते हैं।

In this way Bharata asks everyone in gentle speech and listens to accounts of Rama’s forest exile.

उस दिन ठहरकर वे प्रातः ही रघुनाथ का स्मरण करते हुए चल पड़े।

After staying there that day, they set out early the next morning, remembering Rama.

साथ के सभी लोगों को भरत के समान ही राम के दर्शन की लालसा थी।

All those accompanying Bharata longed to see Rama just as Bharata did.
