Hearing that Bharata had arrived on foot today, the entire gathering became distressed.

सब लोगों ने समाचार जाना और स्नान किया। भरत त्रिवेणी पर आए और प्रणाम किया।

Everyone learned the news and bathed. Bharata came to the Triveni confluence and bowed in reverence.

भरत ने विधिपूर्वक श्वेत और श्याम जल में स्नान किया, दान दिए और ब्राह्मणों का सम्मान किया।

Bharata bathed according to prescribed rites in the white and dark waters, gave gifts, and honored the Brahmins.

श्याम और श्वेत लहरें देखकर भरत का शरीर पुलकित हो उठा और उन्होंने हाथ जोड़ लिए।

Seeing the dark and white waves, Bharata felt his body thrill and joined his hands.
