भरत उससे अत्यंत प्रेम से मिलते हैं। लोग इस प्रेम की रीति को देखकर सराहते और ऐसा प्रेम पाने की अभिलाषा करते हैं।

Bharata meets him with great affection. People admire this manner of love and long for such affection.

‘धन्य! धन्य!’ की मंगलकारी ध्वनि उठती है। देवता उसकी प्रशंसा करके फूल बरसाते हैं।

Auspicious cries of “Blessed! Blessed!” arise. The gods praise him and shower flowers.

जिसे लोक और वेद की दृष्टि में हर प्रकार से नीचा माना जाता है, और जिसकी छाया छू जाने पर भी शुद्धि के लिए जल छिड़का जाता है—

One regarded as low in every respect by social and Vedic norms, whose very shadow, if touched, calls for sprinkling water for purification—

उसी को श्रीराम के छोटे भाई भरत बाँहों में भरकर मिलते हैं; उनका शरीर रोमांच से पूर्ण है।

Rama’s younger brother Bharata embraces that very man, his body covered with the thrill of affection.

जो लोग जँभाई लेते हुए भी ‘राम, राम’ कहते हैं, पापों के समूह उनके सामने नहीं आते।

Even those who say “Rama, Rama” while yawning are not confronted by masses of sins.

इस निषादराज को तो श्रीराम ने हृदय से लगा लिया और उसके कुल सहित उसे संसार में पवित्र कर दिया।

Rama has indeed clasped this Nishada chief to his heart and made him, together with his family, pure in the world.
