कर्मनाशा नदी का जल गंगा में मिल जाए तो बताओ, कौन उसे सिर पर नहीं धारण करता?

When the water of the Karmanasha enters the Ganges, tell me, who does not reverently place it upon their head?

संसार जानता है कि रामनाम को उलटे क्रम में जपते हुए वाल्मीकि ब्रह्म के समान हो गए।

The world knows that, by chanting Rama’s name in reverse, Valmiki became like Brahman.

श्वपच, शबर, खस, यवन, जड़ और पामर लोग, तथा कोल और किरात—

Those termed dog-eaters, Shabaras, Khasas, Yavanas, the ignorant and lowly, and the Kola and Kirata peoples—

‘राम’ कहते ही ये सभी परम पवित्र हो जाते हैं—यह बात संसार में प्रसिद्ध है।

By uttering “Rama,” all these become supremely pure—this is renowned throughout the world.
