उसी समय एक तपस्वी आया, जो तेज का पुंज, कम आयु का और सुंदर था।

At that moment an ascetic arrived, radiant, young, and handsome.

वह कवि था, उसकी गति अगोचर थी, वेश वैरागी का था, और वह मन, कर्म तथा वचन से राम का अनुरागी था।

He was a poet whose ways were inscrutable, dressed as a renunciant, and devoted to Rama in thought, deed, and speech.

अपने इष्टदेव को पहचानकर उसकी आँखों में आँसू भर आए और शरीर रोमांचित हो उठा।

Recognizing his chosen deity, his eyes filled with tears and his body thrilled with goosebumps.

वह धरती पर दंड की तरह सीधा पड़कर प्रणाम करने लगा; उसकी दशा का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता।

He fell flat upon the ground like a staff in prostration; his state cannot be described.
