उत्तरकाण्ड 7.127

वही सर्वज्ञ, गुणवान और ज्ञानी है; वही पृथ्वी पर सम्मानित पंडित और दानी है।

That person alone is all-knowing, virtuous, and wise; that person is an honored scholar and giver on earth.

वही धर्मपरायण और अपने कुल का उद्धारक है, जिसका मन राम के चरणों में अनुरक्त है।

That person is devoted to righteousness and a deliverer of their family, whose heart is attached to Rama’s feet.

वही नीति में निपुण और अत्यंत विवेकी है; उसी ने वेदों के सिद्धांत को भलीभाँति समझा है।

That person alone is skilled in right conduct and supremely discerning; that person has understood the teachings of the Vedas well.

वही कवि और विद्वान है, वही युद्ध में धीर वीर है, जो छल छोड़कर रघुवंश के वीर राम का भजन करता है।

That person alone is a poet and scholar, and steadfast in battle, who abandons deceit and worships Rama, the hero of Raghu’s lineage.

वह देश धन्य है जहाँ गंगा है; वह स्त्री धन्य है जो पति के प्रति निष्ठा के व्रत का पालन करती है।

Blessed is the land where the Ganges flows; blessed is the woman who observes the vow of fidelity to her husband.

वह राजा धन्य है जो नीति के अनुसार शासन करता है; वह ब्राह्मण धन्य है जो अपने धर्म से नहीं हटता।

Blessed is the king who governs according to right principles; blessed is the Brahmin who does not depart from his own duty.
