ये सब वानर सुग्रीव के समान हैं। इनके जैसे करोड़ों विविध वानरों को कौन गिन सकता है?

All these monkeys are equal to Sugriva. Who could count the countless millions of others like them?

राम की कृपा से उनमें अतुलनीय बल है; वे तीनों लोकों को तिनके के समान समझते हैं।

Through Rama’s grace they possess incomparable strength; they regard the three worlds as mere straw.

हे दशमुख रावण, मैंने अपने कानों से ऐसा सुना है कि अठारह पद्म वानर-यूथपति हैं।

O ten-headed Ravana, I have heard with my own ears that there are eighteen padma monkey troop-leaders.

हे स्वामी, सेना में ऐसा कोई वानर नहीं है जो युद्ध में आपको हरा न सके।

My lord, there is no monkey in the army who could not defeat you in battle.

सब अत्यंत क्रोध में हाथ मलते हैं, पर रघुनाथ उन्हें आज्ञा नहीं देते।

They all rub their hands in great anger, but Rama does not give them permission.

वे मछलियों और सर्पों सहित समुद्र को सुखा सकते हैं, अथवा विशाल पर्वतों से भरकर उसे पाट सकते हैं।

They could dry up the ocean along with its fish and serpents, or fill it in with huge mountains.
