सुन्दरकाण्ड 5.44

हे मित्र, संसार में जितने भी राक्षस हैं, लक्ष्मण उन सबको पलक झपकते मार सकते हैं।

My friend, however many demons there are in the world, Lakshmana can slay them all in the blink of an eye.

यदि वह भयभीत होकर शरण में आया है, तो मैं उसे अपने प्राणों की तरह सुरक्षित रखूँगा।

If he has come in fear seeking refuge, I will protect him as I would my own life.

कृपा के धाम राम ने मुसकराकर कहा, ‘दोनों ही स्थितियों में उसे यहाँ ले आओ।’

Rama, the abode of compassion, smiled and said, ‘In either case, bring him here.’

‘हे कृपालु, आपकी जय हो!’ कहकर अंगद हनुमान के साथ चले।

Saying, ‘Glory to you, compassionate Lord!’ Angada set out with Hanuman.
