हे उमा, संत की यही महानता है कि वह बुरा करने वाले का भी भला करता है।

Uma, this is the greatness of a saint: he does good even to one who harms him.

‘आप पिता के समान हैं; भले ही आपने मुझे मारा, हे नाथ, राम का भजन करने में ही आपका हित है।’

‘You are like a father to me; though you have struck me, my lord, your welfare lies in devotion to Rama.’

विभीषण अपने मंत्रियों को साथ लेकर आकाश-मार्ग से चले गए और सबको सुनाते हुए इस प्रकार कहने लगे।

Taking his ministers with him, Vibhishana departed by the sky route and began speaking thus for everyone to hear.

‘राम सत्य संकल्प वाले प्रभु हैं; तुम्हारी सभा काल के वश में है।’

‘Rama is the Lord whose resolve unfailingly comes true; your court is under the sway of death.’

‘मैं अब रघुवीर राम की शरण में जाता हूँ; मुझे दोष मत देना।’

‘I now go to seek refuge in Rama, the hero of Raghu’s line; do not blame me.’
