हे नाथ, कृपा करके मुझे अत्यंत सुख देने वाली, कभी न मिटने वाली भक्ति दीजिए।

O Lord, graciously grant me devotion that brings great joy and never fades.

हे भवानी, हनुमान की अत्यंत सरल वाणी सुनकर प्रभु ने तब कहा, ‘ऐसा ही हो।’

O Bhavani, hearing Hanuman’s utterly sincere words, the Lord then said, ‘So be it.’

हे उमा, जिसने राम का स्वभाव जान लिया, उसे राम के भजन को छोड़कर कुछ और नहीं भाता।

O Uma, whoever has understood Rama’s nature finds nothing pleasing apart from devotion to him.

जिसके हृदय में यह संवाद उतर गया, उसी ने राम के चरणों की भक्ति प्राप्त की।

Whoever takes this dialogue to heart attains devotion to Rama’s feet.

प्रभु के वचन सुनकर वानरों के समूह कहने लगे, ‘हे कृपालु, सुख के मूल स्रोत, आपकी जय, जय, जय हो!’

Hearing the Lord’s words, the bands of monkeys said, ‘Victory, victory, victory to you, compassionate source of joy!’

तब राम ने वानरराज सुग्रीव को बुलाकर कहा, ‘चलें; प्रस्थान की तैयारी करो।’ दिए हुए पाठ में ‘कर’ का स्वतंत्र अर्थ अनिश्चित है।

Then Rama summoned Sugriva, king of the monkeys, and said, ‘Let us go; make preparations to depart.’ The independent meaning of ‘कर’ in the supplied text is uncertain.
