वानर का बड़ा पराक्रम ही क्या है? वह एक शाखा से दूसरी शाखा पर जाता है।

समुद्र लाँघकर सोने की नगरी जलाना और वन उजाड़ना यहाँ उल्लिखित हैं; राक्षस-समूह संबंधी अंश में ‘बिधि’ का पाठ अस्पष्ट है।

Crossing the ocean, burning the golden city, and laying waste the grove are mentioned; the supplied ‘बिधि’ leaves the clause concerning the demon hosts uncertain.
