विरह अग्नि है, शरीर रूई है और साँस हवा है; इससे शरीर एक क्षण में जल जाए।

Separation is fire, the body is cotton, and breath is wind; the body would burn in an instant.

आँखें अपने हित के लिए आँसू बहाती हैं, इसलिए विरह की अग्नि में शरीर जल नहीं पाता।

The eyes shed tears for their own sake, so the body cannot burn in the fire of separation.

सीता की विपत्ति अत्यंत बड़ी है। हे दीनदयाल, उसका न कहा जाना ही अच्छा है।

Sita’s distress is immense. O compassionate lord of the afflicted, it is better left unspoken.

हे करुणानिधान, सीता का एक-एक क्षण कल्प के समान बीत रहा है।

O treasure of compassion, each moment passes for Sita like an aeon.

हे प्रभु, शीघ्र चलिए और अपने भुजबल से दुष्टों की सेना को जीतकर सीता को ले आइए।

Lord, depart swiftly and bring Sita back after defeating the wicked army with the strength of your arms.
