इधर विभीषण को सारी खबर मिली। उन्होंने तुरंत जाकर श्रीराम को सुनाई।

Meanwhile, Vibhishana learned all the news and immediately went to report it to Rama.

हे नाथ, रावण एक यज्ञ कर रहा है। उसके सफल हो जाने पर वह अभागा नहीं मरेगा।

Lord, Ravana is performing a sacrifice. If it succeeds, that ill-fated one will not die.

हे नाथ, शीघ्र वानर योद्धाओं को भेजिए। वे यज्ञ नष्ट करें, जिससे रावण बाहर आए।

Lord, send the monkey warriors quickly. Let them destroy the sacrifice so that Ravana comes out.

प्रातः होते ही प्रभु ने वीर योद्धाओं को भेजा। हनुमान आदि और अंगद सब दौड़ पड़े।

At daybreak, the Lord sent his valiant warriors. Hanuman and the others, including Angada, all rushed off.

वानर खेल-खेल में उछलकर लंका पर चढ़ गए और निडर होकर रावण के भवन में घुस गए।

The monkeys playfully leaped up into Lanka and entered Ravana’s palace without fear.

ज्यों ही उन्होंने उसे यज्ञ करते देखा, सभी वानरों को बहुत क्रोध हुआ।

As soon as they saw him performing the sacrifice, all the monkeys became intensely angry.
