कुंभकर्ण ने कहा: सुनो बेटा, रावण काल के वश में हो गया है; क्या अब वह श्रेष्ठतम सीख भी मानेगा?

Kumbhakarna said: Listen, my son, Ravana has fallen under death's sway; will he now heed even the finest counsel?

हे विभीषण, तुम धन्य हो, धन्य हो, धन्य हो! हे प्रिय, तुम राक्षस कुल के भूषण बन गए हो।

Blessed, blessed, blessed are you, Vibhishana! Dear brother, you have become the glory of the demon lineage.

हे भाई, तुमने कुल को गौरवान्वित किया; तुमने शोभा और सुख के सागर राम को भजा।

Brother, you have brought glory to the lineage by worshipping Rama, the ocean of beauty and happiness.

वचन, कर्म और मन से कपट छोड़कर रण में धीर राम को भजो।

Abandon deceit in speech, action, and thought, and worship Rama, steadfast in battle.

हे वीर, चले जाओ; मुझे अपना और पराया नहीं सूझ रहा, मैं काल के वश में हो गया हूँ।

Go, brave brother; I can no longer distinguish my own from others, for I have fallen under death's sway.
