घायल वीर कैसे शोभित हो रहे हैं? जैसे फूलों से लदे पलाश के वृक्ष।

How do the wounded warriors appear? Like palash trees covered in blossoms.

लक्ष्मण और मेघनाद, दोनों योद्धा, अत्यंत क्रोध करके परस्पर भिड़ते हैं।

The two warriors, Lakshmana and Megh nada, clash with each other in great anger.

दोनों में से कोई दूसरे को जीत नहीं सकता। राक्षस मेघनाद छल के बल से अनीति करता है।

Neither can defeat the other. The demon Megh nada resorts to unfair tactics through deceit.

तब अनंत अर्थात लक्ष्मण क्रोधित हुए; उन्होंने तुरंत रथ तोड़ दिया और सारथी को मार गिराया।

Then Lakshmana, called Ananta, grew angry; he immediately shattered the chariot and struck down its charioteer.

शेषस्वरूप लक्ष्मण अनेक प्रकार से प्रहार करते हैं; राक्षस मेघनाद में बस प्राण शेष रह गए।

Lakshmana, identified with Shesha, strikes in various ways; the demon Megh nada is left barely alive.

रावण के पुत्र ने अपने मन में सोचा: संकट आ गया है; यह मेरे प्राण ले लेगा।

Ravana’s son thought to himself: danger has come; he will take my life.
