वह आकाश में चढ़कर बहुत-से अंगारे बरसाता है; धरती से जलधाराएँ प्रकट होती हैं।

He rises into the sky and showers abundant embers; streams of water emerge from the earth.

तरह-तरह के पिशाच और पिशाचिनियाँ नाचते हुए ‘मारो, काटो’ की ध्वनि निकालते हैं।

Various male and female ghouls dance, crying, ‘Kill! Cut them down!’

वह मल, मवाद, रक्त, बाल और हड्डियाँ बरसाता है; कभी बहुत-से पत्थर छोड़ता है।

He showers excrement, pus, blood, hair, and bones; at times he releases many stones.

धूल बरसाकर उसने ऐसा अँधेरा कर दिया कि अपना फैलाया हुआ हाथ भी दिखाई नहीं देता।

By showering dust, he made it so dark that even one’s own outstretched hand could not be seen.

यह माया देखकर वानर व्याकुल हो गए; उन्हें लगा कि इस तरह सबकी मृत्यु निश्चित हो गई है।
