बालकाण्ड 1.81

जगदंबा कहती हैं, ‘मैं आपके पाँव पड़ती हूँ; आप घर जाइए, देर हो गई है।’

The Mother of the world says, ‘I bow at your feet; please go home, for it has grown late.’

उनका प्रेम देखकर ज्ञानी मुनि बोले, ‘हे जगदंबा भवानी, आपकी जय हो, जय हो!’

Seeing her love, the wise sages said, ‘Hail, hail to you, O Mother of the world, Bhavani!’

आप माया हैं और शिव भगवान हैं; आप दोनों समस्त जगत के माता-पिता हैं।

You are Maya, and Shiva is the Lord; together you are the mother and father of the entire world.

चरणों में सिर झुकाकर मुनि चले गए; उनका शरीर बार-बार हर्ष से पुलकित होता था।

Bowing their heads at her feet, the sages departed, their bodies repeatedly thrilling with joy.
