भावार्थ

भावार्थ

ऐसा कहकर सती ने योग की अग्नि से अपना शरीर जला दिया। पूरे यज्ञ में हाहाकार मच गया।

Saying this, Sati burned her body with yogic fire. An outcry arose throughout the sacrificial gathering.

सती की मृत्यु सुनकर शिव के गण यज्ञ को नष्ट करने लगे।

Hearing of Sati’s death, Shiva’s attendants began destroying the sacrifice.

भावार्थ

यज्ञ का विध्वंस देखकर श्रेष्ठ मुनि भृगु ने उसकी रक्षा की।

Seeing the destruction of the sacrifice, the eminent sage Bhrigu protected it.
