अनेक प्रकार से अतिथि-सत्कार होगा। हे सखी, ऐसा ससुराल किसे प्रिय न होगा?

There will be hospitality of many kinds. Dear friend, who would not love such an in-laws’ home?

तब हर बार राम और लक्ष्मण को देखकर नगर के सभी लोग सुखी होंगे।

Then, each time they see Rama and Lakshmana, all the townspeople will rejoice.

हे सखी, जैसी राम और लक्ष्मण की जोड़ी है, वैसे ही दो कुमार राजा दशरथ के साथ हैं।

Friend, just like the pair of Rama and Lakshmana, two young princes are with King Dasharatha.

एक साँवला और दूसरा गोरा है; उनके सभी अंग सुंदर हैं—जो उन्हें देखकर आए हैं, वे सब ऐसा कहते हैं।

One is dark and the other fair, and all their limbs are beautiful—so say all those who have returned after seeing them.

एक सखी ने कहा, ‘मैंने आज उन्हें देखा; मानो ब्रह्मा ने अपने हाथों से उन्हें सँवारा हो।’

One friend said, ‘I saw them today; it was as though Brahma had fashioned them with his own hands.’

भरत का रूप राम जैसा ही है; स्त्री-पुरुष एकाएक दोनों का भेद नहीं पहचान सकते।

Bharata looks just like Rama; men and women cannot distinguish the two at a glance.
