राम ने कहा: मुनिवर, विचार करके कहिए; आपका क्रोध बहुत बड़ा है और हमारी भूल छोटी है।

Rama said: Sage, speak after considering this: your anger is very great, while our fault is small.

पुराना शिवधनुष छूते ही टूट गया; मैं किस कारण अभिमान करूँ?

The old bow of Shiva broke as soon as it was touched; what reason have I to be proud?

यदि हम ब्राह्मण कहकर आपका अनादर करते हों, तो हे भृगुनाथ, सत्य सुनिए—

If we were to slight you by calling you a Brahmin, then hear the truth, O lord of Bhrigu’s line—

तो संसार में ऐसा कौन योद्धा है जिसके भय से हम सिर झुकाएँ?

Then what warrior is there in the world before whom we would bow our heads out of fear?
