व्यर्थ गाल बजाकर अपने को मत खपाओ। क्या मन में कल्पित लड्डुओं से भूख बुझती है?

श्रीराम को जगत का पिता मानकर उनकी सुंदर छवि आँख भरकर देख लो।

Recognizing Rama as the Father of the world, gaze your fill upon his beauty.

ये दोनों भाई सुंदर, सुख देने वाले, सभी गुणों के भंडार और शिव के हृदय में बसने वाले हैं।

These two brothers are beautiful, bring joy, embody every virtue, and dwell in Shiva’s heart.

पास के अमृत-सागर को छोड़कर, मृगतृष्णा देखकर उसकी ओर दौड़ते हुए क्यों मरते हो?

Why leave the nearby ocean of nectar and run toward a mirage, only to perish?

जाकर जिसे जो अच्छा लगे, वह करे; हमने तो आज अपने जन्म का फल पा लिया।

Go and do whatever each of you pleases; as for us, today we have attained the fulfillment of our birth.
