मुनि विश्वामित्र के चरण-कमलों को प्रणाम करके दोनों भाई राम और लक्ष्मण चले; वे लोगों की आँखों को सुख देने वाले थे।

बालकों का समूह उनकी अत्यंत सुंदर छवि देखकर उनके साथ हो लिया; बालकों की आँखें और मन मोहित हो गए।

Seeing their extraordinary beauty, a group of children joined them, their eyes and minds captivated.

उनके पीले वस्त्र कमर पर कसे थे और कमर में तरकश था; हाथों में सुंदर धनुष और बाण शोभित थे।

Their yellow garments were secured at the waist, with quivers at their sides; beautiful bows and arrows graced their hands.

सुंदर चंदन की रेखाएँ उनके शरीरों के अनुरूप शोभित थीं; श्याम राम और गौर लक्ष्मण की जोड़ी मनोहर थी।

Lovely sandalwood markings suited their bodies; dark-complexioned Rama and fair Lakshmana formed a charming pair.

उनकी गर्दनें सिंह के समान और भुजाएँ विशाल थीं; वक्ष पर नागमणियों की अत्यंत सुंदर मालाएँ थीं।

Their necks were lion-like and their arms mighty; exceedingly lovely necklaces of serpent jewels adorned their chests.

उनकी सुंदर आँखें लाल कमल के समान थीं और चंद्रमा-समान मुख तीनों प्रकार के ताप दूर करने वाले थे।

Their lovely eyes resembled red lotuses, and their moon-like faces dispelled the three kinds of suffering.
