उस दुष्ट कालकेतु ने पुराना वैर याद किया और तपस्वी बने राजा के साथ मिलकर गुप्त योजना पर विचार किया।

The wicked Kalaketu recalled his old enmity and, together with the king posing as an ascetic, deliberated on a secret plan.

उन्होंने वही उपाय रचा जिससे शत्रु का नाश हो; होनहार के वश में राजा को कुछ भी पता न चला।

They devised a means by which their enemy would be destroyed; under the sway of destiny, the king knew nothing of it.

तेजस्वी शत्रु अकेला भी हो, तो उसे छोटा समझकर तुच्छ नहीं मानना चाहिए।

Even if a formidable enemy is alone, one should not regard him as insignificant.

केवल सिर शेष रह जाने पर भी राहु आज तक सूर्य और चंद्रमा को दुःख देता है।

Though only his head remains, Rahu still afflicts the sun and the moon.
