प्रभु के वचन सुनकर, दोनों हाथ जोड़कर और धीरज धरकर कोमल वाणी में बोले।

Hearing the Lord’s words, the speaker joined both hands, gathered composure, and spoke gently.

हे नाथ, आपके चरण-कमलों का दर्शन करके अब हमारी सभी इच्छाएँ पूरी हो गई हैं।

O Lord, having beheld your lotus feet, all my wishes are now fulfilled.

हृदय में एक बड़ी लालसा है; वह सुगम है या अगम, यह कहा नहीं जाता।

One great longing remains in my heart; I cannot say whether it is easy or beyond reach.

हे स्वामी, आपके लिए उसे देना अत्यंत सहज है, पर अपनी दीनता के कारण मुझे वह अगम लगता है।

O Lord, granting it is very easy for you, but my own sense of poverty makes it seem beyond my reach.

जैसे कोई दरिद्र व्यक्ति कल्पवृक्ष पाकर भी बहुत धन माँगने में संकोच करता है।

Just as a poor person, even after finding the wish-fulfilling tree, hesitates to ask for great wealth.

वह उस वृक्ष की शक्ति नहीं जानता; उसी प्रकार मेरे हृदय में संशय होता है।

That person does not know the tree’s power; likewise, doubt arises in my heart.
