ऐसा कहकर दोनों बड़े भय से भाग गए। मुनि ने जल में देखकर अपना मुख देखा।

Saying this, both fled in great fear. The sage looked into the water and saw his face.

अपना रूप देखकर उनका क्रोध बहुत बढ़ गया। उन्होंने उन दोनों को अत्यंत कठोर शाप दिया।

Seeing his appearance, his anger grew greatly. He pronounced a very severe curse on the two attendants.

तुम दोनों कपटी और पापी जाकर राक्षस हो जाओ।

Go and become demons, you two deceitful sinners.

तुमने मेरा उपहास किया है, इसलिए उसका फल भोगो; फिर किसी मुनि पर हँसकर देखना!

You mocked me, so receive the consequence of that; then try mocking another sage!
