अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.77

ईश्वर हृदय में विचार करके शुभ और अशुभ कर्मों के अनुसार फल देते हैं।

God, considering within his heart, gives results according to good and bad deeds.

जो जैसा कर्म करता है, वैसा ही फल पाता है; वेदों की नीति ऐसी है, यह सब कहते हैं।

One receives the corresponding fruit of whatever deed one does; everyone says this is the teaching of the Vedas.

अपराध कोई और करता है, पर उसके फल का भोग किसी दूसरे को मिलता है।

One person commits the offense, yet another receives its consequences to endure.

भगवान की गति अत्यंत विचित्र है; संसार में कौन उसे जान सकने योग्य है?

The ways of God are exceedingly wondrous; who in the world is capable of understanding them?
