माता, पिता, बहन, प्रिय भाई, प्रिय परिवार और मित्रों का समुदाय—

Mother, father, sister, dear brother, beloved family, and the circle of friends—

सास, ससुर, गुरु, स्वजन और सहायक, तथा सुंदर, सुशील, सुख देने वाले पुत्र—

Mother-in-law, father-in-law, teachers, relatives and helpers, and handsome, well-behaved, joy-giving sons—

हे नाथ, जितने भी स्नेह-संबंध और नाते हैं, पति के बिना वे स्त्री के लिए सूर्य से भी अधिक तपाने वाले हैं।

My lord, all bonds of affection and kinship are, for a woman without her husband, more scorching than even the sun.

शरीर, धन, घर, भूमि, नगर और राज्य—पति के बिना ये सब शोक का समूह हैं।

Body, wealth, home, land, city, and kingdom—all are a collection of sorrows without one's husband.

पति के बिना भोग रोग के समान, आभूषण बोझ और संसार यम की यातना के समान है।

Without one's husband, pleasures are like illness, ornaments a burden, and worldly life like the torments of Yama.

हे प्राणनाथ, आपके बिना जगत में कहीं भी मेरे लिए कुछ सुखद नहीं है।

Beloved lord of my life, without you nothing anywhere in the world brings me happiness.
