ऐसे वचन बोले जो मानो वाणी का सर्वस्व थे, परिणाम में हितकारी और सुनने में चंद्रमा के अमृत जैसे थे।

He spoke words that seemed the very treasure of speech, beneficial in their outcome and like lunar nectar to hear.

हे प्रिय भरत, तुम धर्म का भार सँभालने वाले हो, लोकाचार और वेदों के ज्ञाता तथा प्रेम में प्रवीण हो।

Dear Bharata, you uphold righteousness, know worldly customs and the Vedas, and are accomplished in love.

प्रिय भाई, कर्म, वचन और मन से तुम निर्मल हो; तुम्हारे समान केवल तुम ही हो।

Dear brother, you are pure in deed, speech, and mind; only you are your own equal.

गुरुजनों की सभा में, इस कठिन समय पर, छोटे भाई के गुण कैसे कहे जा सकते हैं?

In the assembly of elders, at this difficult time, how can the younger brother’s virtues be recounted?
