अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.22

प्रभु राम सत्यप्रतिज्ञ और देवताओं के हितकारी हैं; भरत राम की आज्ञा का अनुसरण करने वाले हैं।

Lord Rama is true to his promises and benefits the gods; Bharata follows Rama’s command.

तुम स्वार्थ के वश होकर व्याकुल हो रहे हो। भरत का कोई दोष नहीं; यह तुम्हारा मोह है।

You are becoming distraught under the sway of self-interest. Bharata is not at fault; this is your own delusion.

देवगुरु की उत्तम वाणी सुनकर देवराज इंद्र के मन में आनंद हुआ और उनकी खिन्नता मिट गई।

Hearing the excellent words of the gods’ preceptor, Indra felt joy in his heart, and his distress vanished.

देवराज इंद्र ने प्रसन्न होकर फूल बरसाए और भरत के स्वभाव की प्रशंसा करने लगे।

Rejoicing, Indra showered flowers and began praising Bharata’s character.

इस प्रकार भरत मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ते जाते हैं। उनकी दशा देखकर मुनि और सिद्ध उनके सौभाग्य की सराहना करते हैं।

In this way Bharata proceeds along the road. Seeing his condition, sages and perfected beings admire his blessed state.

जब भी भरत ‘राम’ कहकर आह भरते हैं, मानो चारों ओर प्रेम उमड़ पड़ता है।

Whenever Bharata sighs while saying ‘Rama,’ love seems to well up all around.
