अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.13

जो दूसरों की संपत्ति और समृद्धि देखकर हर्षित होते हैं तथा दूसरों की विपत्ति में विशेष रूप से दुःखी होते हैं।

Those who rejoice on seeing others' prosperity and feel especially grieved at others' misfortune.

हे राम, जिन्हें आप प्राणों के समान प्रिय हैं, उनके मन आपके शुभ निवास हैं।

O Rama, the minds of those to whom you are as dear as life are your auspicious dwellings.

हे प्रिय राम, जिनके लिए स्वामी, मित्र, पिता, माता और गुरु—सब आप ही हैं।

Dear Rama, for those to whom you are everything—lord, friend, father, mother, and teacher.

उनके मनरूपी मंदिर में सीता सहित आप दोनों भाई—राम और लक्ष्मण—निवास कीजिए।

In the temple of their minds, may you two brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, dwell together with Sita.
