हे मुनिराज, आपके चरणों के दर्शन करके हमारे सब पुण्यकर्म सफल हो गए।

O great sage, seeing your feet has brought all my meritorious deeds to fruition.

अब जहाँ रहने की आपकी आज्ञा हो और किसी मुनि को कोई उद्वेग न हो, वह स्थान बताइए।

Now indicate a place where you permit me to stay and where no sage would be disturbed.

जिन राजाओं से मुनि और तपस्वी दुख पाते हैं, वे राजा बिना आग के ही जलते हैं।

Kings who cause sages and ascetics to suffer burn even without fire.

ब्राह्मणों की प्रसन्नता मंगल का मूल है; उनका क्रोध करोड़ों कुलों को जला देता है।

The contentment of Brahmins is the root of well-being; their anger burns down countless lineages.

हृदय में ऐसा समझकर वह स्थान बताइए जहाँ मैं सीता और लक्ष्मण सहित जाऊँ।

Keeping this in mind, please tell me a place where I may go with Sita and Lakshmana.

हे कृपालु, वहाँ पत्तों और घास की सुंदर कुटिया बनाकर मैं कुछ समय निवास करूँ।

O compassionate one, there I may build a lovely hut of leaves and grass and live for some time.
