उस पुत्र के बड़ा हो जाने पर माता उससे पहले जैसी बाल्यावस्था की रीति से प्रेम नहीं करती।

When that son grows up, his mother does not express her love in the same manner as in his childhood.

ज्ञानी मेरे बड़े पुत्र के समान हैं, और अहंकाररहित सेवक छोटे पुत्र के समान हैं।

The spiritually knowledgeable are like my grown sons, while humble servants are like young children.

भक्त को मेरे बल का सहारा है और उस ज्ञानी को अपने बल का; दोनों के लिए काम और क्रोध शत्रु हैं।

The devotee relies on my strength, and the knowledgeable person on their own; desire and anger are enemies to both.

यह विचारकर विवेकी लोग मुझे भजते हैं और ज्ञान प्राप्त हो जाने पर भी भक्ति नहीं छोड़ते।

Considering this, the wise worship me and do not abandon devotion even after attaining knowledge.

काम, क्रोध, लोभ आदि और मद—ये प्रबल मोह की धारा के अंग हैं।

Desire, anger, greed and the like, and pride belong to the powerful current of delusion.

उनमें माया के रूप में चित्रित स्त्री अत्यंत भयंकर और दुःख देने वाली है।

Among these, woman portrayed as the embodiment of illusion is exceedingly terrible and brings suffering.
