गरुड़ वहाँ गए जहाँ काकभुशुंडि रहते हैं, जिनकी बुद्धि अवरुद्ध नहीं होती और जिनकी हरि-भक्ति अखंड है।

Garuda went where Kakabhushundi lives, whose understanding is unhindered and whose devotion to Hari is unbroken.

पर्वत देखकर गरुड़ का मन प्रसन्न हो गया; माया, मोह और चिंता सब दूर हो गए।

Seeing the mountain, Garuda’s mind became joyful; illusion, delusion, and worry all departed.

तालाब में स्नान और जलपान करके गरुड़ प्रसन्न हृदय से बरगद के नीचे गए।

After bathing in the pond and drinking its water, Garuda went beneath the banyan tree with a joyful heart.

बहुत वृद्ध पक्षी वहाँ राम के सुंदर चरित सुनने आए थे।

Very old birds had gathered there to hear the lovely accounts of Rama’s deeds.

काकभुशुंडि कथा आरंभ करना ही चाहते थे कि उसी समय पक्षियों के स्वामी गरुड़ वहाँ पहुँचे।

Kakabhushundi was just about to begin the story when Garuda, lord of birds, arrived.

सभी पक्षियों के राजा गरुड़ को आते देखकर काकभुशुंडि अपनी पूरी सभा सहित हर्षित हुए।

Seeing Garuda, king of all birds, approaching, Kakabhushundi rejoiced along with the assembled company.
