उत्तरकाण्ड 7.2

हे प्रिय, आप कौन हैं और कहाँ से आए हैं? आपने मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय वचन सुनाए हैं।

Dear one, who are you, and where have you come from? You have told me words most dear to my heart.

हे कृपा के भंडार, सुनिए: मैं पवनदेव का पुत्र वानर हूँ; मेरा नाम हनुमान है।

Listen, O treasure of compassion: I am a monkey, the son of the wind god; my name is Hanuman.

मैं दीनों के सखा रघुनाथ का सेवक हूँ। यह सुनकर भरत उठे और आदरपूर्वक हनुमान को गले लगाया।

I am the servant of Rama, friend of the lowly. Hearing this, Bharata rose and respectfully embraced Hanuman.

मिलते समय उनका प्रेम हृदय में समाता नहीं था। आँखों से आँसू बह रहे थे और शरीर रोमांचित थे।

As they met, their love could not be contained in their hearts. Tears streamed from their eyes, and their bodies thrilled.

हे हनुमान, आपके दर्शन से मेरे सारे दुख दूर हो गए। आज मुझे मानो प्रिय राम ही मिल गए।

O Hanuman, seeing you has ended all my sorrow. Today it is as though I have met my beloved Rama himself.

भरत ने बार-बार कुशल-क्षेम पूछा और कहा: सुनिए भाई, मैं आपको क्या दूँ?

Bharata repeatedly asked about their welfare and said, “Listen, brother, what can I give you?”
