राम की भक्ति संजीवनी बूटी है; पूर्ण श्रद्धा से युक्त बुद्धि उसका अनुपान है।

Devotion to Rama is the life-restoring herb; a mind filled with faith is the accompanying medicinal draught.

इस विधि से वे रोग भलीभाँति नष्ट होते हैं; अन्यथा करोड़ों प्रयत्नों से भी नहीं जाते।

By this method those maladies are thoroughly destroyed; otherwise, even countless efforts do not remove them.

हे स्वामी, मन को तभी रोगरहित जानिए जब हृदय में वैराग्य का बल बढ़ जाए।

O lord, know the mind to be free of disease when the strength of dispassion has increased in the heart.

सुबुद्धिरूपी भूख प्रतिदिन नई होकर बढ़े और विषयों की आशारूपी दुर्बलता चली जाए।

The appetite of sound understanding grows afresh each day, and the weakness of craving sense pleasures disappears.

जब वह निर्मल ज्ञानरूपी जल में स्नान करता है, तब हृदय में राम की भक्ति छाई रहती है।

When one bathes in the water of pure knowledge, devotion to Rama remains spread throughout the heart.

शिव, ब्रह्मा, शुकदेव, सनक आदि, नारद और जो मुनि ब्रह्म-विचार में निपुण हैं—

Shiva, Brahma, Shukadeva, Sanaka and the other sages, Narada, and the sages skilled in contemplation of Brahman—
