जो अभिमानी प्राणी देवताओं और वेदों की निंदा करते हैं, वे रौरव नरक में पड़ते हैं।

Those arrogant beings who slander the gods and Vedas fall into the hell called Raurava.

संतों की निंदा में लगे लोग उल्लू होते हैं; उन्हें मोह की रात प्रिय है और ज्ञान का सूर्य उनसे दूर है।

Those devoted to slandering saints become owls; they love the night of delusion, with the sun of knowledge gone from them.

जो मूर्ख सबकी निंदा करते हैं, वे चमगादड़ बनकर जन्म लेते हैं।

Those fools who slander everyone are born as bats.

हे प्रिय, अब मन के रोग सुनो, जिनसे सभी लोग दुःख पाते हैं।

Dear one, now hear about the diseases of the mind, from which all people suffer.

मोह सभी रोगों की जड़ है; उन रोगों से फिर अनेक पीड़ाएँ उत्पन्न होती हैं।

Delusion is the root of all diseases; from them arise many further pains.

काम वात है, अपार लोभ कफ है और क्रोध पित्त है, जो सदा छाती जलाता है।

Lust is wind-humor, boundless greed is phlegm, and anger is bile, continually burning the chest.
