उत्तरकाण्ड 7.109

जन्मते और मरते समय जो असह्य दुःख होता है, वह इसे थोड़ा भी नहीं सताएगा—‘अहि’ का पाठ यहाँ संदिग्ध है।

The unbearable suffering of birth and death will not afflict him even slightly; the reading ‘अहि’ is uncertain here.

किसी भी जन्म में तुम्हारा ज्ञान नहीं मिटेगा। हे शूद्र, मेरा सुनिश्चित वचन सुनो।

Your knowledge will not disappear in any birth. O Shudra, hear my assured word.

तुम्हारा जन्म श्रीराम की नगरी में हुआ, फिर तुमने मेरी सेवा में मन लगाया—यहाँ ‘तब’ का पाठ संदिग्ध है।

You were born in Rama’s city, and then devoted your mind to my service; the reading ‘तब’ is uncertain here.

उस नगरी के प्रभाव और मेरी कृपा से तुम्हारे हृदय में रामभक्ति उत्पन्न होगी।

Through that city’s influence and my grace, devotion to Rama will arise in your heart.

भाई, अब मेरा सत्य वचन सुनो: ब्राह्मणों की सेवा हरि को प्रसन्न करने वाला व्रत है।

Brother, now hear my true words: service to Brahmins is a vow that pleases Hari.

अब ब्राह्मण का अपमान मत करना; संतों को अनंत भगवान के समान जानना।

Do not insult a Brahmin henceforth; regard saints as equal to the infinite Lord.
