अनेक प्रकार के वृक्ष, फल और फूल सुंदर थे। पक्षियों और पशुओं के समूह देखकर वे मन को अच्छे लगे।

Various trees, fruits, and flowers were lovely. The flocks of birds and herds of animals pleased him when he saw them.

आगे एक विशाल पर्वत देखकर वे निर्भय होकर दौड़े और उस पर चढ़ गए।

Seeing a huge mountain ahead, he ran toward it and climbed it without fear.

हे उमा, यह वानर की अपनी कोई बड़ाई नहीं; यह प्रभु का प्रताप है, जो काल को भी खा जाता है।

Uma, this is no greatness of the monkey himself; it is the Lord’s might, which devours even Death.

सोने का परकोटा था और विचित्र रत्नों से बने अनेक सुंदर भवन थे।

There was a golden rampart and many beautiful buildings fashioned with exquisite gems.

चौराहों, बाजारों, सुंदर मार्गों और गलियों से वह सुंदर नगर अनेक प्रकार से सजाया गया था।

With crossroads, markets, fine roads, and lanes, the lovely city was arranged in many ways.

हाथियों, घोड़ों, खच्चरों के समूहों, पैदल सैनिकों, रथों और सेनाओं को कौन गिन सकता था?

Who could count the elephants, horses, troops of mules, foot soldiers, chariots, and armies?

अनेक रूपों वाले राक्षसों के दल और अत्यंत बलवान सेना थी; उनका वर्णन करना संभव नहीं।

There were bands of demons of many forms and an immensely powerful army, beyond description.

वन, बाग, उपवन, वाटिकाएँ, सरोवर, कुएँ और बावड़ियाँ शोभायमान थे।

Forests, gardens, groves, small gardens, ponds, wells, and stepwells added beauty.

मनुष्यों, नागों, देवताओं और गंधर्वों की कन्याएँ अपने सौंदर्य से मुनियों के मन भी मोह लेती थीं।

कहीं पर्वत के समान विशाल शरीर वाले अत्यंत बलवान पहलवान गर्जना कर रहे थे।
