वही कोसल के स्वामी रघुराज राम तुम पर दया करने आए हैं।

That very Rama, king of Raghu’s line and lord of Kosala, has come to show you compassion.

हे प्रिय, यदि आप मेरी सीख मानें, तो तीनों लोकों में आपकी अत्यंत पवित्र सुकीर्ति होगी।

Beloved, if you heed my counsel, your noble fame will be exceedingly pure throughout the three worlds.

ऐसा कहकर मंदोदरी ने आँखों में आँसू भरकर पति के चरण पकड़ लिए; उनका शरीर काँप रहा था।

Having said this, Mandodari clasped her husband’s feet with tears filling her eyes and her body trembling.

हे नाथ, रघुनाथ राम का भजन कीजिए, जिससे मेरा सौभाग्य—आपके जीवित रहने का सुख—अटल रहे।

My lord, worship Rama, lord of Raghu’s line, so that my married good fortune—the blessing of your remaining alive—may endure.
