शत्रु के बल को परास्त करके, बल के पुंज वानर अंगद, बालि के पुत्र, हर्षित हुए।

Having overcome the enemy’s strength, the mighty monkey warrior Angada, Bali’s son, rejoiced.

शरीर में रोमांच और आँखों में आँसू लिए अंगद ने राम के कमल जैसे चरण पकड़ लिए।

With his body thrilled and tears in his eyes, Angada clasped Rama’s lotus-like feet.

संध्या हो गई जानकर दस सिरों वाला रावण विलाप करता हुआ अपने भवन में गया।

Recognizing that evening had come, ten-headed Ravana went to his palace, lamenting.

मंदोदरी ने रावण को फिर समझाकर कहा।

Mandodari again spoke to Ravana, seeking to make him understand.
