मुकुटों को आते देखकर वानर भागे; उन्हें लगा कि विधाता दिन में ही उल्काएँ गिराने लगा है।

Seeing the crowns coming, the monkeys fled, thinking that the Creator had begun making meteors fall even in daylight.

या रावण ने क्रोध करके इन्हें चलाया है—चार वज्र बहुत तेजी से आ रहे हैं!

Or has Ravana launched these in anger—four thunderbolts rushing toward us at great speed!

प्रभु राम ने हँसकर कहा, ‘मन में मत डरो; ये न उल्काएँ हैं, न वज्र, न केतु और न राहु।’

Lord Rama laughed and said, ‘Do not be afraid at heart; these are neither meteors nor thunderbolts, neither Ketu nor Rahu.’

‘ये रावण के मुकुट हैं, जो बालि के पुत्र अंगद द्वारा फेंके जाने पर आ रहे हैं।’

‘These are Ravana’s crowns, coming here after being hurled by Angada, Bali’s son.’

हनुमान ने उछलकर मुकुटों को हाथों में पकड़ लिया और लाकर प्रभु राम के पास रख दिया।

Hanuman sprang up, caught the crowns in his hands, and brought and placed them beside Lord Rama.

भालू और वानर इस अद्भुत दृश्य को देखते हैं; मुकुटों की चमक सूर्य के समान है।

The bears and monkeys watch the marvel; the crowns shine like the sun.

उधर क्रोधित रावण तैश में सब से कह रहा था।

Meanwhile, the enraged Ravana was speaking angrily to everyone there.

‘इस वानर को पकड़ो और पकड़कर मार डालो!’ यह सुनकर अंगद मुसकराए।

‘Seize this monkey and kill him!’ Hearing this, Angada smiled.
